The Physics of Roadrunner and Morality

I recently saw a well known yoga teacher jump on a recently passed yoga “guru” by sharing a charged article on her. He was trying to warn the other students about her. While i disagree with using the term guru on most counts, what challenged me the most was the complete disregard of of yoga values. When I gently tried to help reflect this to the teacher, it was like somehow salt had gotten into a very deep wound of his. He just couldn’t quite see it.

Ahimsa is the practice of non-violence. It is a beautiful practice to weave into most things that we do. It starts with our relationship to ourselves, to others and the world around us - nature, animals, etc.

Sometimes we can’t see our shadow. We can’t see that we are becoming the very thing we despise.

May this video be a reminder of each and every time you want to crucify, banish and eliminate something which challenges you or makes you feel vulnerable. The first step is recognizing the discomfort and then from there, understanding why. At that point, you may be able to see that you feel threatened. While you may consider this “inconvenient”, it truly is a gift as it is showing you what bothers you enough to unhinge you. It is like Amazon delivering you a list of weaknesses that you can work on.
